Cheeky Chompers founders with their award

This summer marks a number of achievements for UK nursery brand Cheeky Chompers, including the sale of its millionth product, the unveiling of a brand new collection and global expansion into China.

Julie Wilson and Amy Livingston founded Cheeky Chompers back in 2013, launching the company with the now award-winning Neckerchew teether bib; a dribble bib with a permanently attached teether.

This year, the company has expanded its offer with the introduction a new 100 per cent organic muslin collection. Highlights include the Neckerchew, a chewy dribble bib; the MultiMuslin, one muslin with six uses; the Comforter, a stay-in-place comfort blanket; and the Neckerbib, a soft dribble and milk catcher.

And, with its global reach across 35 countries now including China, the brand is seeing export make-up a significant 70 per cent of its sales.

“It still amazes us both to think it was just a few years back when we chatted about a shared frustration about our teething, dribbly babies,” says Cheeky Chompers co-founder, Julie Wilson. “We were confident combining two parenting essentials was a winner and felt sure it would have universal appeal, but to see the brand that we created from the kitchen table sell around the world, including China and the States, is far beyond our wildest dreams.”

Cheeky Chompers’ retailer portfolio across the UK includes presence in over 100 independent stores as well as John Lewis, Jojo Maman Bebe and M&S.

Adding to this a successful partnership with iconic British brand Joules, Cheeky Chompers has truly positioned itself as a nursery brand to watch.
