Natural infant skincare brand Kokoso Baby is launching two new baby washes to complement its popular organic coconut oil for infants.
Founders Lauren and Mark Taylor used investment from Dragons’ Den’s Touker Suleyman to develop the fragrance-free and softly scented baby washes.
Working with a leading cosmetic scientist, the couple have created an ultra-mild, pH-balanced formula free, which is from nasty chemicals and packed with their own brand of organic coconut oil.
The ingredients are 80 per cent organic, 98 per cent naturally derived and are all rated “green” on the EWG Skin Deep Database.
Alongside the new coconut oil washes, Kokoso Baby is also launching a natural konjac bath sponge suitable for cleansing newborn skin with water alone.
Together, the three new products make up the Kokoso Baby Gentle Cleanse Journey, which helps parents to keep their baby’s skin as soft and pure as possible.
“It’s taken more than a year to create two baby washes that we are happy to use on our children’s skin and share with other parents for their little ones,” says Kokoso co-founder and mum-of-two, Lauren Taylor. “We’ve been very strict in our brief to develop a safe, gentle range using skin-kind plant-based ingredients, including as much of our own organic coconut oil as scientifically possible.”
