Stylish and practical, the new Blizzard Sunrise jacket combines Muddy Puddles’ technical fabrics with Tootsa’s vibrant rainbow and sun appliqué design, originally used on its iconic quilted denim jacket.
Created to protect children from driving snow, the jacket includes a waterproof coating, taped seams and insulation. Other key features include an iPod holder, a pull-down ski pass holder and wrist warmers.
For added versatility, a removable hood and zip-off snow skirt mean the jacket can also be transformed into an everyday winter coat.
“I have always loved Tootsa and everything it stands for – beautiful unisex design combined with exceptional quality,” says Muddy Puddles’ managing director, Natasha Ascott. “I am delighted to launch our collaborative Blizzard Sunrise jacket for this winter with the exquisite appliqué sun and rainbow Tootsa design. It has been a joy to work with a brand who so closely shares our values and approach.”
“Tootsa was launched to produce stylish, practical, quality clothing for kids to wear whilst having fun,” adds Tootsa’s founder and designer, Kate Pietrasik. “As someone who loves to snow board with my family, I know how much fun can be had in the snow.
“When the opportunity arose to work with Muddy Puddles to create a high-tech ski jacket I was delighted,” she continues. “I can’t wait to see kids out and about having some winter adventures in our jacket.”
