Luxury mother and baby gifting website Roses and the Stars is embarking on a two month crowdfunding campaign to support pop-ups throughout the UK at shows, fairs and markets.
The retailer, which was a finalist in the Best Online Store category of the CWB Independent Retail Awards 2016, is seeking to raise £10,000 to fund its rapidly growing pop-up network during the next 12 months. A wide selection of gifts are available to those that donate to the campaign, including store credit, personalised jewellery, scented candles and the ultimate “baby bundles”.
“We have been thrilled by the response to our concept and products since launching Roses and the Stars last year,” says founder, Rosie Jones. “We love having the chance to be out and about, meeting our lovely customers, introducing people to our brand and spreading the word about our philosophy. It’s due to the amazing support we receive at our events that we are looking to expand our pop-up network. This funding will allow us to put the necessary infrastructure in place so we can give the same Roses and the Stars treatment to our fans all over the country and build on what has been a wonderful start to our business.”
Jones, who launched the Stoke on Trent based website in September 2016, sources heirloom products across a range of collections including baby clothing, handcrafted toys, accessories and interiors, as well as health and beauty products for new mothers.
Focus is placed on supporting brands with sustainable qualities, including fair trade and cottage industry workers, as well as those that recycle and use efficient supply chains, minimising CO2 emissions. Stocking both British and international brands, key names includes Olivier Baby, Arsène et les Pipelettes, Knot, Donsje, My Little Cozmo, Waddler, Polka Dot Club, Willa and Bobbin, Bo & Bel, Wooden Story, Merrythought, Pehr, Blossom Paris, Olli Ella, Camomile London and Nathalie Bond.
