SA Awards logo 2019 in gold

Banner is the sponsor of this year’s Best Schoolwear Specialist 2019 (less than 10 full-time staff) SA Award.

This award recognises a schoolwear specialist that displays strong financials and great relationships with schools. Also, quality customer service, staff tenure and examples that show the business goes the extra mile.

Commenting on the sponsorship is Glenn Leech, Banner’s chief executive. “As a founding member of the Schoolwear Association (SA), Banner is delighted to sponsor an award.

“This award rewards and recognises the important contribution that smaller independent schoolwear specialist retailers in the UK make in ensuring the future success and sustainability of the schoolwear industry.”

Have you entered the SA Awards 2019 yet?

Entries for this year’s SA Awards are now open. The SA Awards are free to enter and are for SA members only. However, you can nominate others in the industry as well as your own business. For ease, the application process is now online. Click here to apply. For further information contact the SA at info@schoolwearassociation.co.uk.

All award winners and runners-up will be announced at the SA’s ‘Greatest Schoolwear Show’ event on Sunday 13 October 2019 at the Village Hotel, Solihull, following the first day of The Schoolwear Show. The evening fundraiser will also include a three-course dinner and live entertainment, including acts to reflect the event’s circus theme.

As well as the award, all winners and runners-up will get the opportunity for free promotion by the SA on social media and in the press. CWB online will reveal those on the shortlist. Coverage will also be available in CWB’s September/October print issue.

The business continues to invest heavily in stock, new product development, marketing and design, new technology and people.
