- The CWB Independent Retail Awards are open to UK stores only.
- Employees of CWB magazine or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with CWB magazine shall not be permitted to enter the Awards.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the Awards.
- Details of how to enter the Awards can be found at cwb-online.co.
- Please fill in all sections of the entry form. Any forms filled in incorrectly, or which are incomplete, will be disqualified.
- Interior and exterior images of your shop must be supplied as part of your Award entry. There is no limit to the number of images supplied per shop. Any entry supplied without shop images will be disqualified.
- Shop images must be sent electronically in high resolution JPEG or TIFF format via email or a downloadable link. All imagery must be emailed to cwbretailawards@ras-publishing.com, with the shop’s name and award category included in the subject line.
- Closing date for entry is 29 September 2017. After this date, no further entries to the Awards are permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- CWB magazine reserves the right to cancel or amend the Awards and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the Awards will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
- Initial shortlisting will be done by the CWB team. Winners will be chosen from the shortlist by a panel of unbiased, expert judges appointed by CWB magazine. Due to the size and undertaking of these Awards, individual feedback for entries cannot be provided.
- Judges reserve the right to move entrants into relevant award categories if deemed inappropriate and you will be notified of any changes.
- Winners will be announced in the November/December issue of CWB magazine.
- All winners will be provided with a CWB Independent Retail Awards 2017 logo, which can be used for any marketing purposes.
- CWB magazine will retain control over all editorial coverage of the Awards and reserve the rights to publish our final choice of content. The editorial team’s decisions are final.
- CWB magazine’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Awards will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering the Awards, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The Awards, and these terms and conditions, will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
- The winner agrees to the use of their name and image and their shop’s name and image to be used in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- Entry into the Awards will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
