Exhibition halls at Pitti Bimbo

Kids’ fashion and lifestyle trade show Pitti Bimbo has confirmed it is working hard to retain its summer dates. The Italian trade fair, which takes place at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, is still aiming to take place on 25-27 June 2020.

In the face of the coronavirus outbreak, the event is investing in a two-pronged approach, incorporating both physical and digital. This will include innovative and complementary services to boost the efficiency of the relationships between exhibitors and buyers.

New content and features are being planned for the show’s physical edition. Flanking this will be an advanced version of the e-PITTI Connect digital platform. Enhancements will include new functionality, additional content and also remote interaction modes.

In a statement, the show says: “We want to continue to be a stable and safe point of reference without concealing the difficulties; monitoring the evolution of the situation in Italy and around the world day by day, hour by hour.

“We will continue to keep in contact, to stay up to date, to be flexible and fast, and to adopt the most opportune measures reliably and with the necessary courage. New scenarios will open up that will not always be predictable; we will work harder, but above all, better.”
