Green Singing Ant playmat

The team at German brand The Singing Ant is launching its range of artisan-inspired playmats in the UK this summer. Combining both style and practicality, the EVA foam playmats are set to shake up the nursery interiors market.

The creation of mum of two, Nicole Eissele, her goal was to create a playmat that enhances the feeling of home; adding a whimsical touch to any nursery, whilst also creating a soft and safe space for little ones to play.

The rotatable, non-toxic EVA foam tiles easily slot together, instantly interlocking to become a playmat. This patented construction enables the mats to easily expand or reduce to fit into any space. The provision of a handy travel tote also enables you to pack the mats away for trips or play dates.

Featuring a wipe-clean, soft surface, The Singing Ant designer playmats offer safety and style within the home.

Available in four scandi-inspired, unisex colour options, highlights include neutral tones of green and blue featuring delicate floral illustrations. There is also a metallic design in sunset rose and moon grey offering subtle copper flecks.

Commenting is The Singing Ant’s founder, Nicole Eissele. “Having had great success with The Singing Ant playmats in Germany, we are thrilled to bring the collection to the UK.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer something practical that ensures safe play for little ones at home whilst also bringing an element of style, too. Although the playmats’ creative and beautiful designs make them stand out, their functionality cannot be overlooked.

“The patented structure means no small or loose parts for children and easy setup and storage for parents as well. We just know they are going to be a must-have in every family home.”
