For the first time ever, & Other Stories has created a collection for women and kids age 18 months up to 8 years. Featuring printed dresses and sets in sustainably sourced materials, the collection draws inspiration from the importance of female role models in a young girl’s life.
Created in & Other Stories’ Paris Atelier, the collection has a romantic, elegant charm. There’s also a sense of passing down a passion for fashion and personal style from one generation to the next; all whilst cherishing the unique relationship between women and girls.

There are six matching looks; a dress for the woman and a dress or coordinated set for the girl, with inclusive sizing details in mind.
A white Broderie Anglaise midi-dress with a smocked body, ruffled sleeves, and a contrasting A-line skirt translates into a two-piece set of top and shorts in the same silhouette for girls. The knee-length dress with puff shoulders and ruffle hem in both versions comes in a pink/purple on white floral print. Or, alternatively, a black polka dot print on white.
Elsewhere, there is a plant-dyed soft pink maxi-length dress. It includes tie-up shoulder straps, smocking details, Broderie Anglaise trim, and a deep ruffled hem in both versions. This is the first time & Other Stories has used plant dyes for the soft pink. The dye comes from the Rubia cordifolia, a flowering plant in the coffee family.
The white empire waist midi-length dress in a dotted floral print has wide shoulder straps and side slits. The kids’ version has a smocked chest and tie-up shoulder straps. The sage green floral print midi-length dress in Tencel™ lyocell and linen with cross-body wrap turns into a two-piece set of top and shorts with ruffled sleeves and scalloped hems.
All pieces except for the sage green ones are made from organic cotton. The collection is available now in selected & Other Stories stores and on stories.com.
