Registration is now open for the 2021 edition of The Schoolwear Show, which takes place in October at Cranmore Park Conference and Event Centre in Solihull. At the heart of this year’s event is the aim to fuel a safe and successful return to face-to-face trading, after over a year of Covid-related restrictions.

For this reason, The Schoolwear Show is implementing several changes. One of these is the adoption of an appointment system to enable visitors to pre-book time slots with exhibitors. Whilst essential for key appointments, visitors will still be able to attend stands on an ad-hoc basis where availability allows.

Another drive to deliver the most efficient, engaging show possible, is the move to condense the event from three to two days for 2021. The show will, therefore, now run from Sunday 10 October to Monday 11 October.

Commenting is Nigel Plenderleith, chairman of The Schoolwear Show.

“Pre-planning is key for this year’s event. The opening of visitor registrations should mark the start of the industry’s preparations for the show. Once a visitor has registered and their registration confirmed, they can then start pre-booking appointments with exhibitors and get into the mindset of returning to a live trade show environment.

“All the key suppliers are there, with more space between and around stands to ensure a safe and friendly environment for retailers and exhibitors alike. There will also be hand sanitiser stations throughout the venue and separate dining rooms for exhibiters and visitors.

“Our mission is to deliver a safe and productive event,” concludes Plenderleith. “The changes we have introduced are all designed to facilitate just that; two dynamic, focused, and much-needed days of trading in-person.”

Over 20 exhibitors have already signed up for the 2021 show including Amaya; Banner; Chadwick Textiles; David Luke; Diamond Textiles; Douglas & Grahame; Eskimo Epos; Falcon Sports; Flamingo; Gymphlex; Kwiktapes; Madeira Threads; MagicFit; Marton Mills; National Weaving; One+All (formerly Rowlinson Knitwear); Pex; Tie & Scarf; Top to Toe; Trutex; Winterbottom; and William Turner.

Visitors will need to register for The Schoolwear Show before being able to access the appointment system. Further information on utilising the booking service will be available shortly. To register your place, please click here.
