Harvey Nichols Leeds is presenting a host of special celebrations this October, marking its 25th anniversary in the city. The luxury retailer first opened its doors on 23 October 1996 to crowds of curious onlookers and fashion-savvy shoppers. The first Harvey Nichols store to open outside of London – coining its nickname as the ‘Knightsbridge of the North’ – it presented five floors of fashion, beauty, luxury food and fine wine.
As the anchor retailer in the historic Victoria Quarter, the store holds a special place in the retail landscape of Leeds; becoming a firm favourite with visitors and residents alike. Celebrating its landmark birthday this October, the store will present a series of events, competitions and promotions. There will also be special treats on offer for customers shopping in-store during the birthday weekend.
The store will host an all-day shopping event on Saturday 23 October.
The day will include complimentary drinks tastings and live DJ sets as well as party food pop-ups throughout the store. Plus, customers can receive a special birthday scratch card when they spend £50 or more to reveal a birthday treat.
