Angela Marsland, owner of babywear brand Blues Baby, is a finalist in the New Business category of the 2022 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS). Established in 2011, the EVAS celebrate the outstanding successes and achievements of the North West’s most talented female entrepreneurs.
Blues Baby, which offers babywear for newborn to four years, is seeing continued success since Marsland took ownership of the business 18 months ago. The timeless babywear brand is stocked primarily in UK independent baby boutiques but is also available in department stores and has a growing B2B business worldwide.
A recent development for Blues Baby includes the introduction of an affordable layette gifting range. Catering for newborn to 12 months, the boxed gift sets offer a layette collection comprising two-piece sets, rompers and special occasion sleepers in cotton interlock, jersey and woven fabrics; ideal for that first gift or special occasion.
The EVAS are now the largest business awards outside London dedicated solely to women.
The awards distinguish those women who are leading the way in their industries or building businesses that are not only judged on turnover but creativity, ethics, passion and commitment. The EVAS are open to all women in business in the North West.
Now the finalists have been announced it’s over to the public vote, which closes on 12 August. There will then be an EVAS Ceremony on 23 September where the winners will be announced. Following this will be an EVAS2022 Winners Reception on 6 October. For further information on Blues Baby, please click here.
