Jennifer O’Sullivan, owner of Lark Kids, had always wanted to be a shopkeeper. Having studied buying and fashion business at the London College of Fashion, followed by a long career in retail management and having her three children, she decided to put her interests and training to work.

In November 2021, independent children’s shoe shop Lark Kids was born from a passion for footwear and a true love of old-fashioned customer service.

“After the closure of Russell & Bromley Kids, where I spent seven years managing one of their children’s departments, I knew there was a gap in the market for a children’s retailer specialising in fitting with knowledge, service and beautiful products at the heart of everything,” says O’Sullivan.

Offering a contemporary store with a touch of Scandi-styling, Lark Kids keeps it simple and lets the shoes do the talking. Brands include Start-Rite, Bobux, Aigle, Anglus, Young Soles, Zig + Star and Hummel, alongside a selection of accessory brands.
