Selfridges is expanding its rental offer with the launch of its first Kidswear Rental collection. The Selfridges buying team has selected a curated edit across occasionwear, outerwear, streetwear and changing bags.
Sizes range from six months up to 16 years, and pieces will be available from four, eight, 10 and 20-day periods. Prices start from £20 for a four-day rental. Brands, meanwhile, include Self Portrait, Off-White and Kenzo. Later this year, the Kidswear Rental collection will expand to include skiwear
In 2021, Selfridges launched ski rental, which accounted for 33% of total Selfridges rentals in autumn/winter. For children who are likely to grow out of skiwear year after year, the rental proposition represents a more planet-friendly option.
The launch of Selfridges Kidswear Rental is powered by Hurr. It is the latest addition to the Reselfridges initiative (rental, resale, repair, refill and recycle). In September, as part of its Project Earth sustainability strategy, Selfridges announced new commitments to change the way we shop.
By 2030, Selfridges aims for 45% of transactions to come from circular products and services under the Reselfridges ecosystem. For further information on Kidswear Rental at Selfridges, please click here.
