Toddler sat in front of Union Jack boxes wearing grey boots by Early Days

Baby and toddler shoe specialist, Early Days, celebrated over 70 years of manufacturing in the UK during 2022. The company directors strongly believe the British heritage brand’s success and longevity are down to retaining its UK skill base, with many of the workforce being with the company for over 40 years.

Other developments for Early Days include the successful launch of new colours to the collection, as well as a new boot style. “The biscuit and grey colourways in particular have received a fantastic reaction from customers, as has the new cream matt,” comments Paul Bolton, director of Early Days.

“Camel and barley are the other two colours that have sold very well. This year has also seen an improvement to the insoles used across the range, with a high-grade foam that has better shape retention and improved cushioning for extra foot comfort.”

Early Days is constantly looking at ways to reduce its impact on the planet, with all of its packaging now made from 60% recycled bottles and suitable to be recycled where facilities exist.
