Black and white head shot of Emily Beardsworth of May Creative Marketing

May Creative Marketing has been named ‘Best Children’s Fashion Photography Studio 2023 – East Midlands’ in the MarTech Awards 2023, hosted by Innovation in Business. Showcasing those who have excelled in their trade, the MarTech Awards 2023 is designed to recognise companies that continue to contribute towards making their industry one of the most innovative in the world.

“Childrenswear has been part of my life for as long as I can remember,” says photographer and owner of May Creative Marketing, Emily Beardsworth. “My parents’ business, designing and managing a babywear brand, was run from the Leicestershire farm where we lived. Holiday jobs spent working at babywear and kidswear exhibitions introduced me to the industry in a broader context and it was then I decided to start carving my niche.”

“I studied creative art at school and photography at college, but the real learning began in earnest when I set up my own photography business over 10 years ago. My customers range from kidswear in Brazil, baby and toddler shoes made in England, babywear in Portugal and, most recently, a growing number of sustainable nursery brands – sustainability is my other passion.”
