A young child wearing a pink Roarsome beanie and coat

Award-winning childrenswear brand ROARSOME has a new partnership with Little Forest Folk, one of the fastest-growing forest schools in the UK. The brand is now Little Forest Folk’s official uniform supplier, having designed a bespoke kit which will be provided for every child enrolled at its nurseries.

Forest schools connect children to nature, inspiring them to live a naturally healthy lifestyle that builds resilience, confidence, independence and self-motivation. Rated outstanding by Ofsted, Little Forest Folk is an outdoor childcare programme hosted at seven outdoor sites around London including Chiswick, Morden, Putney, Fulham, Twickenham, Wandsworth and Wimbledon.

Aimed at pre-schoolers aged 2-5 years, the schools teach the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. They incorporate learning in a safe and secure outdoor environment, where free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world, and physical activity are an integral part of learning.

Over the last 12 months, ROARSOME has worked closely with Little Forest Folk’s team to create custom kit designed for playing outdoors all day, every day.

Using feedback over several sessions, ROARSOME produced brightly coloured waterproof jackets and bib trousers in its signature eco-friendly RPET fabric. Available for ages 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 years, the garments also feature removable fleece inners. This allows them to stay lightweight and breathable in summer as well as warm in winter, avoiding the previous requirement for parents to buy separate summer and winter kits each year.

Just like the rest of ROARSOME’s childrenswear collection, these sets are durable and high quality. Additionally, to further support hand-me-downs when a child grows out of each set, ROARSOME has added a special neck label for future owners.
