A child's lunchbox and water bottle with a red London bus design

Rex London, a wholesaler of homeware, gifts, toys and games, has launched a new collection in collaboration with Transport for London (TfL). As well as taking inspiration from TfL’s design history, the collection presents Rex London’s own original artwork on a children’s range with the iconic red Routemaster bus.

The collaboration marks Rex London’s first licenced collection in more than 10 years. Celebrating the capital’s rich design heritage and some of its most iconic images, it includes over 30 of the company’s bestselling products including stationery, kitchen accessories and its recycled jumbo bag.

Commenting is Scott Clarke, Head of Sales and Operations at Rex London. “I’m delighted to be teaming up with Transport for London to produce our first licenced range in over a decade. It’s an iconic brand not only in our city but around the world.

“As a company of Londoners, either lifelong or more recent, TfL is a part of our daily lives and it’s fantastic to be working with some of their heritage assets. Of course, we have our own distinctive style as well, so couldn’t resist the temptation to produce a children’s range inspired by the classic Routemaster.”

Ellen Sankey, Brand Licensing Manager at TfL, adds: “We are excited to work with Rex London on a new transport-inspired collection. This new partnership, with such a well-known London-based design company, is another example of how our brand’s heritage can be captured beautifully in a range of products.”
