The Spotty Tiger's website homepage

Sisters Laura Geekie and Jo Machray launched a website in February as an extension of their independent family store, The Spotty Tiger, which opened in Perth, Scotland in June 2023. The sisters are the third generation of their family to provide a retail experience in Perth, following in the footsteps of their granny, mum and auntie, who are in their 70th year of trading in ladies’ fashion.

The duo took the opportunity to coordinate the website’s launch with their first big sale. The shop’s reach through social media was already UK-wide, but the website gives customers access to more of the in-store offering, including baby and children’s clothes and accessories, a wide selection of engaging toys, and pocket money treasures. There are also gifts for every celebration, including mums-to-be, new mums, family, and friends.

Brands stocked include Kite, Mayoral, Toby Tiger, Freckles & Daisies, Doctor Mother Other, Charley’s Wild World, Dandelion, Orange Tree Toys, TenderLeaf, Threadbear, Rex of London and Rachel Ellen The sisters plan to continue giving families a beautiful destination shop to visit, promoting the business as one of the many independent shops that Perth has to offer. The new website is an extension of this, allowing customers both near and far additional access to the store.
