Children's clothes and gifts displayed inside the No. 31 shop

A collective of small independent businesses has come together to open a new shop on Burford High Street in the heart of the Cotswolds. The shop, known as No. 31, opened its doors on 6 June and will host an all-day event on Saturday 20 July to celebrate the launch.

No. 31 is a collaboration of 11 small independent businesses situated in a 13th-century building on Burford High Street, a popular destination in the Cotswolds. Together the brands offer a curated selection of high-quality products from homeware, candles and skincare to knitwear, jewellery and stationery.

The shop also includes two award-winning children’s brands: Ducky Zebra, which offers fun, sustainable childrenswear, and The Phive, which makes kids’ creative learning tools.

Furthermore, customers can enjoy freshly prepared, locally sourced food by Nutmeg & Thyme. Nutmeg & Thyme is Burford’s only 100% vegan and gluten-free food outlet, allowing customers to enjoy something a little different.

Commenting is Lynn Newland, owner of No. 31. “I am delighted to offer a new shopping experience for the residents and visitors of Burford. We have brought together 11 local, independent brands, all brimming with talent, to create a unique dog-friendly shop with a fantastic range of high-quality products, alongside freshly prepared food and coffee.”
