Harrogate International Nursery Fair closed its doors on another successful show earlier this month, where manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and buyers united at the Harrogate Convention Centre to attend the UK’s only nursery trade show.
Commenting on the 2024 edition is show organiser Adrian Sneyd. “Our first event following the pandemic saw October as a ‘must do’ window to finally deliver that fateful locked down March fair. The industry responded favourably to the realignment of dates and now sees the preferred option of following on more closely after Kind und Jugend as a way to bring new launches earlier into the UK markets.
“We have now successfully run the previous three editions in this autumn slot and are able to confirm a new three-year contract and tenure at Harrogate Convention Centre has been signed. We hope that this will give as many of the industry, and also our visitors, a solid forward plan to ensure the continuing success of attending a UK show.”
Among the show’s exhibitors was Aimee Cestrone, MD of Pippeta.
“We’ve just wrapped up an incredible few days at Harrogate International Nursery Fair, and what a success it was,” says Cestrone. “It was an amazing opportunity to connect with new and existing partners and we are excited to have lovely new stockists coming on board. We also enjoyed networking with some truly exciting brands, which we can’t wait to collaborate with in the future.”
Marc Kelly of CuddleCo echoes similar feedback: “We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our stand, your time and support mean the world to us. It was a pleasure to see so many valued customers and we were thrilled to launch our new distribution partnership with Inglesina. We are already looking forward to next year’s event and are committed to making it even bigger and better.”
Gaelle Green-Garandel of Atlinks adds: “I have been attending the Harrogate show for quite a few years now. This year my purpose was very different, as it was to introduce a new brand of baby monitors. Harrogate International Nursery Fair did not disappoint. I am thrilled with the number and quality of visitors and the amazing response Chillax received. This is the start, and we will definitely attend next year again with some exciting new products.”
BabyStyle, one of the event’s longest-standing exhibitors, celebrated its 25th anniversary at the show.
“We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the retailers who visited us at Harrogate International Nursery Fair, especially for joining us in celebrating our 25th Anniversary,” says BabyStyle’s Andy and Sam Crane. “It was a pleasure to showcase our latest products, and we’re absolutely delighted by the incredible feedback. Harrogate is truly the friendliest and best nursery event in the world, and your continued support means everything to us. We’re excited to grow, innovate, and keep creating exceptional products together in the future.”
Meanwhile, among the show’s new exhibitors this year was industry service provider Claimline. Maxine Glencross, growth marketing manager for the company, comments: “The fair exceeded our expectations. The attendee turnout was impressive and the level of engagement from visitors made it a huge success for us. We are excited to follow up on the leads we gathered and look forward to exhibiting again next year.”
Harrogate Internation Nursery Fair will return on 12-14 October 2025. Exhibitor bookings open in December, with 2024 exhibitors receiving priority to secure either the same stand or request a new position at the event. The show’s future dates are 18-20 October 2026 and 17-19 October 2027. For further information, please click here.
