Children’s Christmas outfits for 0-4 years are now available to rent at Borro, the baby and kids’ clothing rental company. Borro enables customers to rent new or ‘good as new’ Christmas outfits from premium sustainable brands Mori and Kite.
With around a quarter of Christmas jumpers only worn once before they’re discarded, renting helps keep clothes in the loop and can reduce CO2e emissions by 49%, according to Borro’s lifecycle assessment report.
Commenting is Sarah Green, founder of Borro and a mum of two. “I’m so excited to be offering Christmas outfits at Borro. We all want a gorgeous photo of our little ones in something Christmassy, but it can be so expensive and such a waste to buy something new – renting is the answer.”
Customers can pay to rent Christmas pieces from £3 per month and return them for free, so another child can enjoy them next year. Everyday wear for 0-4 years is also available to rent with no minimum subscription and free returns from MORI and Kite, as well as Little Green Radicals, Turtledove London and Pigeon Organics.
