LeMieux, the equestrian brand founded in 2006 by former Olympic event rider Robert LeMieux and his wife Lisa, has taken the toy market by storm with its range of high-quality, hand-finished Toy Ponies, Hobby Horses, Tiny Ponies and Toy Puppies. In just three years since its inception, LeMieux toys has made its way into Selfridges and John Lewis, captivate animal-loving children everywhere and solidifying its position as an innovative force in the toy industry.
LeMieux Toy category grew 87% in FY24, generating a revenue of just under 6 million.
Children can learn about pony care through play with LeMieux’s stable of Toy Ponies, Hobby Horses and Tiny Ponies. Hand-finished with high-quality details, the classic toys are also accompanied by an array of authentic miniature tack and accessories, sold separately.
Through play, children will refine their motor skills while igniting endless possibilities for storytelling and role-playing.
From tacking up to grooming and bandaging, this is an imaginative way to introduce children to the equestrian world. Dressing up their miniature companions, braiding manes, and attaching miniature saddles engage children in intricate tasks, enhancing hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Every toy is individually hand-made, varying slightly in size and shape, and comes in its own travel lorry carry case, which turns inside out to become a luxury stable play scene. The ponies and puppies stand securely on all four legs and are flexible, making them safe for young children (aged 3+) to play with.
