Pamela Freyne is a mother to one son and three daughters and always loved styling her children when they were small. After leaving a career in healthcare, she had the ‘now or never’ opportunity to open a childrenswear boutique of her own: Lavender’s Blue.
“We are very fortunate that Naas is a thriving town and is known as a destination spot for both ladies’ and gents’ clothing, with the only thing missing being a luxury children’s shop – until Lavender’s Blue opened,” says Freyne. “The boutique has been warmly welcomed by the people of Naas and already, in two short years, we have grown incredibly.”
Lavender’s Blue opened in September 2022 offering childrenswear from newborn to 12 years. The store stocks around 20 brands offering fun, stylish and colourful collections with no compromise on quality or comfort from names such as Emile et Rose, Patachou, Mayoral, Kite, Timberland, Billieblush, Boboli, Tuc Tuc, Condor, Sterntaler, plus many more.
The business works hard to support the local community, including supporting a GAA club via sponsorship and donating prizes to schools’ fundraisers. There are also plans to participate in fashion shows alongside an array of ladies’ boutiques in Co.Kildare. Supported by the store’s popular social media pages, which are well-known locally, Freyne’s goal is to increase Lavender’s Blue’s reach with an ecommerce business.
