UK toy and gift distributor, Little Concepts, and the Danish kids’ brand, Crateit®, have embarked on a new and exclusive distribution partnership.

Crateit doesn’t just make toys; it creates memories, fosters togetherness, and inspires hours of imaginative play. Its innovative approach transforms traditional toys into creative outlets to spark children’s imaginations and creativity.

Founded by Tonny Kaagaard Olsen and Martin Wibe Kristensen in 2021, Crateit’s journey began in Odense, where a shared passion for making a difference brought Tonny and Martin together during their studies in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Tonny’s mother dedicated her life to working with people with developmental disabilities, and Martin has a sister-in-law with a chromosomal disorder. These personal experiences instilled a deep empathy and a commitment to social responsibility. This is evident through Crateit’s ethos of working with specialist production units in Denmark that employ people who have faced various challenges, including disabilities.

Crateit’s toys are all designed and produced in Denmark using wood from suppliers that are FSC-certified. When wood is FSC-certified, it is made with care for both nature and the people who work in forestry.

Stock will be arriving in the UK in February, and products are now available to preorder via the Little Concepts B2B platform.
