Following a recent brand refresh, Luca and Rosa London reaffirms its values and outlines its future business plans.
Sabrina Burns launched sustainable children’s nightwear and loungewear brand Luca and Rosa at the end of 2020, a business that is named after her two children and influenced by her youngest, who was born with severe eczema. Burns became aware of the significance of clothing materials for sensitive skin, leading her to explore organic clothing and its benefits for both skin and the environment.
Following a recent brand refresh, including a new website, Luca and Rosa is committed to reinforcing its values about the importance of sleep for children and the benefits of organic cotton and sharing its knowledge with other parents.
“We have several strong core pillars to the business, which we will be discussing via interesting and factual reads on our website,” says Burns. “We want to educate parents on children’s sleep and topical subjects around it, such as bedtime routines and making bedtime more fun, as well as the importance of organic cotton and sustainability. Manufacturing in organic cotton is so much better for the environment as it uses less energy, releases fewer greenhouse gases, and due to the improved soil quality, uses significantly less water.
“We also focus on ethical manufacturing and practices, only working with factories that follow strict codes of conduct and meet these criteria with certifications. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do and is so important to us as a business.”

By focusing on high-quality, comfortable pieces that are soft and breathable on the skin, as well as being label- and seam-free, which can ease sensory issues related to clothing, Luca and Rosa helps ensure children get the best night’s sleep while also looking stylish.
In terms of design, the brand’s contemporary style draws inspiration from Burns’ Italian heritage, in memory of her father. Focusing on playful and colourful tones, with fun prints including lemons, stars, florals, animals and new ballet and space designs, pieces include children’s pyjamas, dressing gowns, babywear and loungewear.
“I brought the company to life through my love of design and fashion and the desire to bring in a fresh, new style that really stands out from the crowd and that children will love to wear – something different to the everyday prints you see,” continues Burns. “The matching pieces offer sophisticated and coordinated looks that make bedtime so much more fun for children and easier for parents.”
Luca and Rosa’s high-quality clothing is built and designed to be passed down with love to future generations, something it supports further with a host of gender-neutral prints that give a wider option for families passing down from sibling to sibling.

Ranges are available for babies up to children aged 11-12 years.
The baby range runs from newborn to 18-24 months, with a recently introduced toddler range catering for 18-24 months to 3-4 years. Children’s sizes span from 1-2 years to 11-12 years across both the sleepwear and loungewear collections. Luca and Rosa also offers women’s loungewear available in sizes small to extra-large, alongside a new range of women’s pyjamas in the same size offering.
Luca and Rosa has more exciting plans ahead too, as Burns explains. “We are expanding into global markets and really getting our name out there on an international level, and we are now working with an agent, the wonderful AliOli Kids Childrenswear Agency, so we are looking forward to some wonderful growth in our wholesale business. We are also introducing some fabulous new product lines, which we are excited to launch in 2026, as well as new prints in our wonderful existing lines, so it is a very busy time for us.”
