Newbie, the sustainable lifestyle brand within the Swedish fashion group Kappahl Group, has opened a brand-new store at The Lexicon in Bracknell, Berkshire.
Newbie continues its strategic expansion in the UK this year, with the Bracknell opening being its tenth UK store following recent new openings in Bromley and Windsor. The brand is also set to open in Ealing, London this November, bringing the total number of Newbie UK stores to 11.
With timeless design and a nostalgic style, Newbie offers carefully crafted clothing for babies, children and women.
Commenting is Gemma Keenor, Newbie UK Country Manager. “We are excited to open our tenth store in Bracknell on 10 July, as there is an increased demand for children’s clothing. We are incredibly proud to have opened a Newbie store in the beautiful historic market town of Windsor earlier this month.
“The reception we have received from our customers has truly exceeded all our expectations. Already on our opening weekend, Windsor broke sales records for a UK store opening, and we very much hope for the same reception in our Bracknell store.”
The company’s long-term growth strategy focuses on a three-pillar strategy of establishing a presence in key markets, meeting increased demand and creating inspiring in-store experiences. Newbie builds its success via inspiring shopping environments and a firm focus on sustainability.
The Newbie store at The Lexicon in Bracknell offers a complete wardrobe for children aged 0 months to 8 years.

Pieces feature hand-drawn patterns and a soft colour palette inspired by nature, with a clear focus on sustainability. All collections feature high-quality materials like organic cotton and RWS-certified wool and are designed for longevity, allowing them to be passed down through generations.
In addition to children’s clothing, the brand’s website offers a Newbie Woman collection, providing matching outfits for mothers and children. Meanwhile, the Newbie Room Collection further diversifies the product range, featuring storage solutions and decorative items that transform children’s spaces into imaginative environments.

“The British market is exciting and full of potential, and we are eagerly looking forward to continuing our growth journey here. Our British customers have given Newbie a very warm reception, and they clearly appreciate our focus on timeless design, our nostalgic style and our PreLoved concept. The UK is an important market in our global expansion strategy, as we aim to also establish the Newbie brand in more markets across Europe.”
