Based in Holborn, London, Not Just a Shop sells design products and artwork to the public created by University of the Arts London students and alumni. It exists to support students who want to run their own product-based businesses by teaching them about working with retailers.

Operating on a not-for-profit model, it reinvests all proceeds back into running the shop and supporting students and graduates from all UAL Colleges with their businesses.

 

 

Each year, Not Just a Shop holds an open call for new products from UAL students and alumni. All products and makers are selected by a panel from various disciplines and backgrounds. This year, 13 new makers were chosen, including the bright and playful children’s clothing brand Tropel Kids.

Childrenswear brand Tropel Kids offers locally made, small-batch pieces crafted from high-quality materials, combining bold designs with sculptural comfort. The brand is all about creative freedom and joyful self-expression, creating bold, wearable clothes designed to be lived in, loved, and passed on.
