Småfolk has been awarded Bronze in the Junior Design Awards 2025 in the category Best Heritage Brand (over 10 years). For Småfolk, the award represents an important recognition of its journey since 2005 – one filled with colour, hand-drawn prints, and a mission to bring joy, creativity, and imagination back into children’s wardrobes.
The judges especially highlighted the brand’s Iconics collection, launched earlier this year. Created to mark Småfolk’s 20th anniversary, the permanent NOOS collection brings together some of the brand’s most recognisable and in-demand styles and prints from the past two decades.
At the heart of the collection is the iconic apple print, a defining part of Småfolk’s identity. Over the years, the apple print has become one of the brand’s most recognisable and requested designs. Iconics also includes other timeless favourites, such as the tractor print and strawberry print, both long-standing staples in Småfolk’s collections.

Commenting is Marianne Ditlefsen, Business Development Manager at Småfolk
“We are immensely proud that our Iconics collection has been awarded Bronze at the Junior Design Awards. It proves that Småfolk’s DNA – colour, creativity, and quality – has not only stood strong for 20 years but continues to be relevant today. This award is a recognition of our entire team and our partners, who make it possible to create clothes that children love and that can be passed on.”
