As a mum of four, Caroline Davies has always had a passion for children’s fashion and toys. After running an events business for several years, she decided to take a step in a new direction – one that felt closer to her heart – opening Dottie & Oscar Children’s Boutique in April. “It’s not just a business for me, but a reflection of the things I love most – family, creativity, and making childhood that little bit more special,” she says.

 

 

The store, which is often likened to a beautifully designed child’s bedroom, is fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams, making it easy for all families to browse the curated range of children’s fashion and lifestyle products.

 

 

Brands are chosen for their quality and style, with favourites including Wheat, Töastie, Rockahula Kids, Moulin Roty, Leosun, Banwood, Avery Row, Ecobeach, Scrunch, Elma, Bob & Blossom, Kite, Lazy Jacks, Toffee Moon, The Little Stamford Co., and Verity London.

 

 

Community is important to the business, with previous activities including an Easter Egg Hunt around Holt, with seasonal events now being organised for Halloween and Christmas. Plans for the business include expanding ranges to continue bringing new and inspiring products into the store, including the introduction of children’s shoes, which have been highly requested.
