CWB editor Laura Turner selects five must-have children’s collections to get in store.
01: Yonder Living
Artisan loungewear and home accessories brand, Yonder (pictured above), was founded by designer and mother Sophia Leppard. Yonder collaborates with skilled artisans and small workshops worldwide, using sustainable materials and traditional techniques. Now based in South East London, Leppard designs everything from her Deptford studio alongside a small team. The kids’ collection for newborn to 8-9 years prioritises comfort, craftsmanship and eco-friendly materials, including 100% GOTS-certified organic satin cotton and cashmere blends. Expect hand-block printed pyjamas and suede slippers, alongside thoughtful touches such as biodegradable Corozo buttons and temperature regulating Merino wool socks.

02: Petit Pli
Petit Pli, a London-based brand redefining childrenswear through patented textile innovation, is now available wholesale across the UK and EMEA. Founded by aeronautical engineer Ryan Mario Yasin, the multi-award-winning brand combines sustainable manufacturing, innovative design and global cult appeal. Known for its expandable garments that grow with children, Petit Pli’s patented structure is engineered to expand bi-directionally, allowing each garment to fit seven sizes in one, reducing waste and offering a longer lifecycle than conventional clothing. The brand’s wholesale range includes its bestselling outerwear and expandable dungarees, with retailers benefitting from strong merchandising support and sustainability messaging.

03: The Little Poets
Launched in June at Playtime Paris, The Little Poets was established in Portugal in 2024 by three friends, mothers and creatives. Drawing on their Mediterranean heritage and an appreciation for fashion passed down through generations, the brand’s aesthetic is rooted in the folkloric traditions of the past, a time when fashion was slow and handmade. Inspiration comes from historical embroidery, traditional silhouettes and timeless textiles blended with a modern, expressive point of view – an approach the brand calls “historical sustainability.” The playful collection allows expression through layers, textures, details and splashes of colour for ages 6 to 12 months up to 16 years, with women’s sizes in some curated pieces.

04: Mae & Moon
Mae & Moon was inspired by founder Lucie Anne Fowkes’ frustration with her children’s pyjamas fading and losing shape quickly. Drawing on her appreciation for comfortable family days at home, she launched luxury children’s nightwear and loungewear brand Mae & Moon in April to offer high-quality, pure cotton pieces that are stylish and made to last. Mae & Moon debuts with The Classic Collection, which will remain its staple offering. With a focus on simplicity and timeless appeal, each collection will present a single style available in three shades to work across seasons. Current sizes are 12 months to 5 years.

05: Xero Shoes
Represented by Unify Brand Partnerships, Xero Shoes was created by Steven Sashen, who wanted the benefits of barefoot movement without going entirely shoeless. Xero Shoes’ kids’ collection offers two styles, both available in Big Kids (UK 11-3) and Little Kids (UK 5-10) sizes. The Prio is an athletic shoe, great for climbing, playing and running. The Dillon Knit is a new style, originally made as a slip-on but now updated with laces for big kids and Velcro for little kids, and is a classic ‘do everything’ trainer. The Xero Shoes collection includes lightweight materials, wide toe boxes, and flexible soles that emphasise freedom of movement.
