On 25 November, ASEPRI held its second showroom in Mexico City with the support of the Economic and Trade Office of Spain in Mexico and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment. The aim was to promote and create business opportunities for Spanish children’s brands with VIP clients in the country.
Mexico, the second most important market for Spanish children’s fashion and footwear exports, represents a major opportunity for the sector. It currently leads international sales in non-European markets with a 9% share and ranks 18th for the childcare sector.
The showroom allowed Mexican clients to discover the collections and designs of leading Spanish brands in children’s fashion, footwear and baby accessories.

In terms of VIP guests, ASEPRI invited retail chains, department stores, e-shops and Mexican importers. Among them were clients such as Palacio de Hierro, Liverpool (a department store with 120 shops), Bambitas footwear, Comercio Excelente, Baby Luna, Boli Baby Shop, Georgie Boy and Paty Bueno.
Ten brands participated in the showroom. In children’s fashion, there was Boboli, Drap Drop, Foque, Lilulila, Martín Aranda and the Boboli Chic line. Representing Spanish-made footwear were Pisamonas and Ria Menorca. Childcare products also featured, with Bimbidreams and Ecus Kids, and for toys, the doll brand Nines D’Onil.
