The Baby Products Industry Association (BPIA) has strengthened its member support offering with the appointment of Jennifer Lake of Bug Grip to its Executive Committee. Lake takes on a newly defined role, focusing on helping members unlock funding and financial support opportunities to drive business growth. Working closely with members, Lake will provide guidance and insight into the evolving funding environment, alongside highlighting key opportunities across trade, innovation and export.

With traditional schemes such as the UK’s Trade Access Programme no longer in place, navigating the funding landscape has become increasingly complex. In response, the BPIA is stepping in to ensure its members remain well-positioned to access support and capitalise on growth opportunities both in the UK and overseas.

This development underlines BPIA’s continued focus on delivering practical, business-focused support to its members at a time when many companies are looking to scale, invest and expand into new markets. Lake’s appointment also signals a broader commitment from the Association to equip members with the tools and knowledge needed to remain competitive in a fast-moving global marketplace.
