Little Classmates, The Parently Group’s affordable schoolwear brand for independent and specialist retailers, is refreshing its range for 2027 with three new clothing styles and, for the first time, a footwear collection. The launch builds on the range’s first year, during which it has given specialist retailers an accessible, competitively priced alternative to supermarket uniform basics.

Little Classmates was introduced to help independent retailers compete for uniform sales that have increasingly defaulted to supermarkets, particularly as cost-of-living pressures push more parents toward value options. With the Children’s Wellbeing Bill’s uniform price cap now shaping the market, Little Classmates gives specialists a way to offer parents reliability and choice at a competitive price.

New for 2027

New styles for 2027 are available in sizes 3-4 years to 11-12 years, and include a classic grey A-line skirt in soft jersey fabric with a full elasticated waist and easy pull-on design. There is also a soft polyester-cotton gingham dress available in green, blue and red, featuring a front zip for easy dressing and a crisp contrast collar for a smart, polished finish. Plus, a classic grey tunic-style pinafore in polyester designed for all-day comfort and a neat appearance, with button fastening and a half-elasticated waist.

A first for Little Classmates: school shoes

The most significant change to the range for 2027 is footwear. Little Classmates is launching its debut school shoe collection, giving retailers the chance to offer a complete, affordable uniform solution across clothing and shoes from a single specialist brand.

The footwear offer comprises five black school shoe styles across girls’ and boys’ options, each available in sizes 6-13 and 1-2. For girls, Lilian is a patent style with sparkly unicorn embroidery detail and a touch-fasten strap, while Morgan offers a classic patent Mary Jane with bow detailing and the same easy fastening. Completing the girls’ line-up is Tilly, a patent chunky lace-up boot with a side zip, designed to give retailers a more trend-led option for the school run.

The boys’ collection includes Blake, a hardwearing double touch-fasten shoe with a durable sporty sole, and Harrison, a sleek single-strap style with a chunky sole developed to withstand everyday school wear.

Commenting is Kathryn Shuttleworth, CEO of The Parently Group.

“For retailers, this is about being able to offer parents everything they need in one place – accessible clothing and now shoes, at a price that gives them a genuine reason to choose a specialist over a supermarket. Shoes have been the natural next step for Little Classmates, and it means our retail partners can now offer a complete, affordable uniform solution under one trusted brand.”

“We wanted the first Little Classmates shoes to feel like they belong next to the clothing range: dependable, well-made and priced to sell,” adds Ryan Cooke, Head of Product at The Parently Group. “From touch-fasten styles for younger children to a lace-up boot for older ones, there’s a style to suit most classrooms, and every pair is built to handle a full school term.”

The new styles and full footwear collection are available to view now in the 2027 Little Classmates lookbook, alongside image downloads and an order form for retail partners. For further information, contact sales@parentlygroup.com or click here.
