The Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT) and Boden are celebrating a decade-long partnership supporting the British fashion brand’s employees who are parents and carers.
Through the partnership, FTCT helps eligible Boden employees manage the financial pressures of raising a family. The support complements Boden’s wider employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives, extending assistance beyond the workplace.
Commenting is Anna Pangbourne, chief executive of FTCT. “We are delighted to celebrate over 10 years of FTCT’s partnership with Boden, continuing to support members of its workforce who are parents and carers.
“The rising cost of living has made it harder for many families to cover essentials such as school uniforms, bedding and mobility equipment, making our support more important than ever. FTCT’s grants offer discreet assistance, fulfilling our charitable mission to improve children’s lives during challenging times.”
The partnership sits alongside Boden’s benefits and wellbeing programme for almost 900 employees, helping the business foster engagement, retention and a supportive workplace.
Charmaine Higgins, Boden people operations manager and charity lead, adds, “We want to give people their best life at work. As a business, we need to make sure we’re supporting people in their personal lives as well, and this is where it’s great that we have FTCT.
“If we can support employees with the other things that may be worrying them as parents, hopefully that eases some of the pressure. We encourage them to approach FTCT for a grant if needed.”
FTCT grants help cover essential items for children, including schoolwear, bedding and mobility equipment. The charity can also contribute towards therapies when state support is unavailable. Other fashion and textile businesses working with FTCT include M&S, John Lewis Partnership, John Smedley, Charles Tyrwhitt and Next.
Since July 2026, FTCT has awarded £85,000 in grants to support 171 children. The average grant is £600 per child, with funding including 120 bundles of clothing and school uniform for the new term.
