Children’s footwear brand Froddo is strengthening its schoolwear offer with a collection that brings together regular and barefoot school shoes designed to support healthy foot development while delivering all-day comfort.
The story of Ivančica, the Croatian company behind Froddo, began in 1946, when a small group of shoemakers opened a workshop that would later grow into the company it is today. Froddo was introduced in 1999 as Ivančica’s dedicated kids’ footwear brand. Now, Ivančica employs more than 600 people and exports to over 50 countries.
With 80 years of shoemaking heritage behind it, Froddo focuses on leather footwear that combines fit, function and simple design details. Its school shoe range includes both Regular and Barefoot options, giving retailers a broader choice of styles for children with different needs and preferences. The Barefoot collection is designed with a zero heel drop, wide toe box, flat insole and a non-slip outsole that is flexible in all directions.

The range also includes models for different foot widths, with sizes spanning 20 to 42, helping children’s feet move more naturally throughout the school day.
Alongside its Back to School collection, Froddo offers a wider children’s footwear range across its Regular and Barefoot collections. For autumn/winter 2026/27, the brand has more than 700 models available, with designs that place emphasis on comfort, functionality and understated styling.
The offer also includes canvas options for indoor and outdoor use in dry conditions, as well as ballet-style designs for girls, further widening the brand’s school and everyday footwear proposition. Froddo’s latest collection is inspired by nature, heritage and a spirit of exploration, with each model developed to balance practical performance with the comfort required for active children.
