UK sensory play brand Inspire My Play has launched a new Cupcake Play Set to combine baking-themed role play with hands-on early learning.

The latest addition to the company’s sensory play range enables children to fill, scoop, swirl, decorate and serve pretend cupcakes using playdough, cloud dough, modelling sand and other sensory materials.

The set includes six pastel silicone cupcake cases, matching candles and a swirled scoop. It can be used to create a pretend bakery, café or birthday party set-up, supporting imaginative and shared play.

 

 

Alongside encouraging communication and confidence, the play pattern also helps children develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Counting candles and matching colours also introduces early maths, colour recognition and problem-solving.

Made from FDA food-grade silicone, the Cupcake Play Set is BPA-free, phthalate-free and dishwasher safe. It complements Inspire My Play’s existing Ice Cream Play Set and is positioned as a Christmas gifting and stocking-filler option.
