Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2026, which took place on 18-20 October, brought nursery brands, retailers and suppliers together for new product launches and business meetings, with exhibitors reporting retail orders, new contacts and positive feedback on their latest ranges.

Against a challenging trading backdrop for the nursery sector and wider high street, the show provided an opportunity to strengthen customer relationships and discuss business for the year ahead. Stand parties and informal networking also gave visitors and exhibitors time to catch up and share ideas.

Among the product launches, Rockit introduced its Rising Star sleep training clock to the trade, returning to Harrogate 10 years after launching the Rockit Rocker at the show.

Commenting on the response, Matt Dyson says, “The feedback from retailers both large and small was so positive. We are looking forward to returning next year with some new and exciting Rockit products – watch this space.”

Joie UK highlighted a positive response to its new Cocoa fashion, arriving in early 2027, and cabin-approved porto stroller. Melissa Cooper, head of marketing, says, “Harrogate is always a highlight of the year for us at Joie – it gives us a great opportunity to connect with existing customers as well as forging new relationships for the future, and this year was no exception.”

Meanwhile, Hauck reported a full appointment schedule and targeted new business contacts. Helen Robinson, head of sales – UK & Ireland, says, “We were delighted with the customer response to our products and booth. The appointment schedule was full and everyone who made appointments to see us came along.”

Fraupow also secured orders and gathered feedback on its latest ranges. Jade Martin, marketing, social & content executive, says: “Harrogate International Nursery Fair provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Fraupow brand, secure orders and connect with our valued retail partners.” The brand also reported promising new relationships and discussions around future growth, with plans to return next year.

From a visitor perspective, Sarah Simons and Susan Purse of British Baby Box, which sources products for its baby boxes, highlighted the value of viewing ranges in-person. “The show gives us the opportunity to see new products and to talk face-to-face with new and existing suppliers,” they say. “It certainly helps to nurture relationships and see first-hand what is coming to the market. It is an essential date in our diary.”
