People sat in a row taking notes at a seminar

Building on a successful launch last year, The Schoolwear Association (SA) is once again hosting its SA seminar programme to take place during The Schoolwear Show. Furthermore, the line-up has been considerably extended this year to include six, free-to-attend sessions.

The SA seminar programme

A valuable addition to The Schoolwear Show’s content, the SA seminar programme is designed to provide insight into the industry’s hottest topics.

Amongst this year’s programme, therefore, Klick Business Solutions will be covering an evolution in tendering solutions. Titled ‘Win & Keep Winning Tenders’, the seminar will also include a Q&A session.

‘Know More About Products You Buy’ is a talk that will be hosted by Sue Bolton of Bolton Consultancy. A specialist in the technical aspects, performance and safety of children’s clothing, Bolton will provide a technical workout across design, mechanical, chemical, ethical and sustainable issues. A Q&A session will also be available.

Social media is another topic in this year’s programme. Featuring both a retailer panel discussion and a Q&A session, the ‘Social Media Know-how’ seminar will provide advice on how to get the best results from social media.

‘Sustainability – Long Live Uniforms’ will address future scenarios, now. Hosted by Kathryn Shuttleworth, the talk will include a retailer panel discussion as well as Q&A time.

Another retailer panel discussion and Q&A on the schedule is ‘Every Child Is Worth It’, which will address how the industry works with its communities.

Finally, ‘Clear & Present Danger’ will inform attendees on what the SA is doing to counter threats to the market. Hosted by SA chair David Burgess, the presentation will also include a Q&A.
