The Schoolwear Show Logo

Over recent months, The Schoolwear Show has been busy behind the scenes creating a refreshed corporate image. New branding that better reflects the show’s core values will be unveiled at its upcoming edition on 6-7 October 2024. CWB learns more.

The Schoolwear Show is the biggest event in the schoolwear industry’s calendar and has been a key gathering for schoolwear retailers, suppliers and industry professionals for many years. As well as providing a platform for independent schoolwear retailers to connect face-to-face with suppliers, peers and industry experts, the event’s product showcase enables attendees to discover new collections, ranges, fabrics and designs. It’s also a source of education and inspiration, allowing visitors to explore the latest industry trends, regulations and business strategies, and gather ideas for their store to stay ahead of the curve.

With a rich history of bringing together industry stakeholders, fostering connections and showcasing the latest innovations in school uniforms and related products, The Schoolwear Show is harnessing its strengths with the launch of new branding for 2024.

The concept behind The Schoolwear Show’s new logo represents bringing people together – essentially what the exhibition is all about – and it also takes inspiration from the event’s venue, AIS Cranmore Park, with a nod to the building’s arched exterior design. Featuring bright colours, the logo stands out with its fresh, lively and modern feel, and effectively reinforces the values of drawing people in and making connections.

Helping further cement the focus on uniting the industry and supporting in-person networking opportunities will be the return of the show’s seminar programme for 2024. Tailored specifically for independent retailers, the seminar sessions will cover essential topics, trends and strategies designed to boost business, and will also enable visitors to exchange ideas and build valuable relationships. The seminar schedule will be confirmed closer to the time, but visitors can expect a range of key topics on the agenda including business strategies – marketing, inventory management and customer retention; legal and compliance – uniform regulations, safety standards and best practices; and industry insights – trends, consumer behaviour and future predictions.

In terms of general themes at this year’s event, the organisers foresee that sustainable schoolwear will remain a hot topic, including discussions around eco-friendly materials, ethical sourcing and sustainable practices. Other key matters include digital transformation and how technology is impacting schoolwear retail, online sales and customer engagement; school uniform trends and the exploration of the latest uniform designs, fabrics and customisation options; and industry challenges, including addressing supply chain issues, changing regulations and market shifts.

The show will present a mix of established suppliers and new faces, providing attendees with a comprehensive view of the latest schoolwear products, from uniforms to accessories. The organisers often introduce new elements to enhance the show experience, so keep an eye out for announcements closer to the event date via The Schoolwear Show’s new look website and social media.
