Handmade children’s costume brand, A is for Alice, is bringing a burst of colour to playtime with the launch of its new Rainbow Felt collection. Featuring soft felt wings, matching star wands and crowns in bright rainbow hues, each piece is lovingly crafted to inspire open-ended, imaginative play for ages 3-7 years.

The heirloom-quality sets are designed and made by hand in the brand’s workshop in Birmingham. Using natural materials, rich colour palettes and a dash of vintage storybook charm, founder Ruth Bagnall combines over 20 years of costume-making experience with a love of childhood creativity.

 

 

“I wanted to create a joyful, colourful collection that invites children to step into a world of make-believe,” says Bagnall. “These pieces aren’t just for dressing up, they’re tools for storytelling, discovery and magical adventures.”
