Blues Baby’s acquisition of AMORE, a brand known for quality baby clothing and classic designs previously owned by Kris X Kids, signals a new era for the label. Founded in Macclesfield by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Annie, AMORE has built a strong industry reputation and close relationships with suppliers and retailers.

 

 

In August 2024, as the owners prepared to retire after more than 30 years in the babywear business, they began discussions with Blues Baby to continue the brand. With the support and guidance of the founders, Blues Baby successfully delivered its first AMORE collection for the a/w 25 season.

The AMORE collection continues to offer quality outfits for baby boys and girls from newborn to two years, characterised by classic styling, subtle graphics, and accessible price points. Designs are predominantly in soft pastel shades with coordinated outerwear pieces.

 

 

AMORE’s a/w 26 collection, which will be available at INDX National Kidswear Show in February, will see significant developments. By popular demand, sizing will extend up to four years, accompanied by a broader range of cardigans and coats designed to complement each story within the collection. The boys’ range will adopt a cleaner aesthetic with pared-back graphics, alongside feminine girls’ pieces featuring the brand’s signature frills.
