Triangle, a contemporary fashion and lifestyle boutique in Clapton, has launched A Small Triangle, a new children’s concept store on Chatsworth Road, London.
The children’s store officially opened on 7 March 2020. However, just two weeks after opening it temporarily closed its doors under the UK government guidelines. Since then it has introduced a free local delivery service to customers.
Triangle was founded in 2015 by Tory, Mary and Matt, who shared a market stall selling interior accessories and a love of mid-century and vintage furniture.
Over the past five years since opening, customers began searching for design-led children’s toys and fashion to complement the items available in Triangle.
The concept for the children’s store had been in the works since Triangle opened.
It wasn’t until early 2020 when the right location became available that the owners decided to take the leap. Within a month, A Small Triangle had opened.
The launch was a huge success, with many of Triangle’s customers coming back to Chatsworth Road to celebrate and share rave reviews on the brand mix and store ethos.
The shop stocks lifestyle brands such as Liewood, Kid’s Concept, Ollie Ella and also Ferm Living. Children’s fashion labels, meanwhile, include Monkind and Hackney local, What Mother Made.
The store is also the exclusive stockist of The Slow Folk; a brand that focuses on small capsules of knitted clothing and accessories for 0 to 12 months. The Slow Folk uses British merino wool spun with mulberry silk for added softness. It also offers newborn pieces in Alpaca silk blend.
A Small Triangle is now developing its own small range of clothing and wooden toys. This will be available later in the year. The children’s store is in a prominent location at 5 Chatsworth Road E5 0LH, less than five minutes from the original Triangle store.
