Babykid Spain + FIMI attracts buyers from five continents
From 22-24 January 2025, Feria Valencia will bring together over 500 brands from the children’s sector, together with 300 VIP buyers from 54 countries, for the fifth edition of Babykid Spain + FIMI.
Most buyers are from Europe. Among the 18 nationalities who have confirmed their attendance, Italy and Portugal are key, accounting for 60% of European visitors. The remaining 26% are non-European companies, with 5% from Africa, 12% from Asia, and 9% from America. Among the more than 36 countries represented are the USA, Morocco, Peru, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica and Panama, among others.
International VIP visitors who will be at Babykid Spain + FIMI include the Polish chain XXXLutz, with 350 points of sale; Hankyu from Japan, and Blue Salon from Qatar, both international reference department stores. Also present will be the Turkish chain Bgstore Magazacilik and the Latin American Falabella, with 35 shops in Peru and 42 in Chile.
This edition of the show, which covers children’s fashion, footwear, childcare and toys, will also include additional exhibition space, occupying Hall 7, the largest at Feria Valencia.
Other highlights include the ‘Magic Winter Smiles’ catwalk show.
The catwalk will take place on 22-23 January under the theme ‘Magic Winter Smiles,’ with children’s fashion brands presenting their a/w 25/26 collections. The catwalk will be supported by ICEX, which will allow Spanish children’s fashion to be taken to the international arena.
Participating in the ICEX show, coordinated by ASEPRI and with the support of Feria Valencia, are the Spanish brands Gocco, Boboli, Dadati, Javilar Kids, Newness, Nora baby Bags by Cambrass, Tartaleta, Tuc Tuc and Nath. In addition, the Junta de Castilla y León will support the catwalk participation of the brands Marae Kids, Azul Izal and Artesanias Filita. Carello, a childcare brand, will also feature, presenting its latest innovations in pushchairs.
