A young baby sat up on a red sofa

Esra Lombard launched Bebekish when her son Ethan was born with skin irritation and allergy problems. The baby brand offers a range of high quality, sustainable and organic baby clothes and accessories for 0 to 2 years.

“I was advised to use organic and bamboo products for Ethan to ease his symptoms,” says Lombard. “I didn’t think it would work, but it did. So, I started researching bamboo and organic cotton and soon realised that using sustainable materials for children’s needs is not only beneficial to them, but also for our environment.

“Our aim is to design safe and secure products that are ethical and sustainable and will keep children and mums happy and comfy all day long. We also make sure that our products are multi-functional and can be used for a long period of time.”

The Bebekish product range includes baby clothing; muslin swaddles; car seat accessories; breastfeeding covers; bamboo beddings and also organic handmade toys. Notably, the brand’s soft and breathable bamboo muslin won Gold in the Bizze Baby Awards 2022.

The lightweight muslin is ideal for a newborn swaddle as it prevents overheating. However, other uses include a blanket, bath or beach towel, a breastfeeding cloth or a pushchair cover.
