Children’s clothing and accessories brand, Blade & Rose, has been shortlisted for two Gift of the Year awards. The Blade & Rose Peter Rabbit collection has been shortlisted for the Branded Gift award. Meanwhile, the brand’s Colour Changing Raincoats are on the shortlist for the Ethical and Sustainable Gift award. Organised by The Giftware Association, the Gift of the Year product awards are now in their 45th year and annually celebrate gift product excellence.

The Blade & Rose Peter Rabbit collection features five distinct designs – Veg Patch, Playtime, Floral, Classic and Festive. All the designs take inspiration from Beatrix Potter’s Lake District, where Blade & Rose is also based. Designed with comfort and longevity in mind, each set includes a long-sleeved top, matching leggings and socks for 0-4 years.

Adding to its growing library of styles, Blade & Rose’s Colour Changing Raincoats are available in a full range of styles and characters.

 

 

The quick-drying, colour changing raincoats for 0-4 years are available in the Highland Cow, Magical Unicorn and Weather print. The outer layer of the raincoats features 100% recycled polyester. This keeps in line with Blade & Rose’s values of sustainability and overall care for the environment. Plus, all Blade & Rose fabrics are certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which certifies fabrics as being safe for babies and children and not containing any harmful chemicals or substances.

All raincoats also have a soft lining in a contrasting colour and a bright zip as well as poppers to keep cold winds and rain out. Elasticated cuffs help when dressing children as well as working to keep them warm. An elasticated hood serves the same purpose whilst also cleverly keeping hoods up, whatever the weather. Other design features include reflective strips on both arms for safety and two pockets.
