The owner of Blue Almonds stood in her baby boutique

Blue Almonds, Chelsea’s female-founded luxury independent retailer for mums-to-be, babies and toddlers, continues to support British entrepreneurship with the announcement of the three brands chosen for its House of Blue Almonds 2026/27 Residency Programme.

Now in its second year, House of Blue Almonds gives young businesses first-hand luxury retail experience through dedicated in-store displays, customer engagement, events and expert retail guidance. The programme also helps independent retail thrive by giving emerging businesses room to grow and introducing local families to innovative brands they may not otherwise find.

In a Dragon’s Den-style judging process, a panel of children’s retail and parenting experts reviewed each brand. Judges included Ellie Thompson, editor of My Baba; Victoria Evans, editor of City Kids; former buyer and babywear consultant Nicola Perring; influencer and new mum Alice Vanderpump; and Blue Almonds founder Izabela Minkiewicz. Each brand founder had five minutes to pitch their business before answering questions from the panel.

Following the judging process, Tres London, Hele Jelly Bean and Percy & Pop were selected as the three winning brands, each securing a two-month residency as part of the House of Blue Almonds programme.

Founded by former luxury womenswear designer Monica, Tres London creates timeless British childrenswear that combines understated luxury with exceptional craftsmanship. Designed using natural fibres and produced in Britain, the collection impressed judges with its heirloom quality, contemporary aesthetic and beautifully considered details.

Hele Jelly Bean creates beautifully personalised gifts for babies and children, from embroidered weekend bags and dressing gowns to swaddles, muslins and keepsakes. The judges were inspired by the brand’s creativity, warmth and thoughtful approach to gifting, as well as the opportunity to bring personalisation experiences into the boutique.

Percy & Pop is a sustainable children’s bath and body care brand creating plastic-free shampoo and conditioner bars designed especially for young families. Combining practical parenting solutions with environmental responsibility, the brand stood out for its innovation and its mission to make bath time more enjoyable while encouraging children’s independence.

Commenting is Izabela Minkiewicz, founder of Blue Almonds.

“I have always celebrated independent businesses with incredible stories to tell, and I believe it’s important to create opportunities for the next generation of founders. House of Blue Almonds isn’t simply about stocking products; it’s about giving emerging brands the confidence, visibility and customer insight that can help transform a young business.

“Every founder we met this year brought passion, creativity and originality. The quality of applications was exceptional, making the judging process incredibly difficult. We’re delighted to welcome Tres London, Hele Jelly Bean and Percy & Pop into Blue Almonds, and we look forward to introducing their brands to our customers and the wider Chelsea community over the coming year.”
