The Baby Products Industry Association (BPIA) has confirmed a programme of expert speakers and industry insight sessions for its AGM, Awards & Networking Event on 10 June at the Wellington Hotel by Blue Orchid, London.

Open to both members and non-members, the afternoon will tackle some of the biggest issues currently facing businesses across the nursery sector, from the legal implications of artificial intelligence to unlocking valuable grant funding opportunities.

Leading the seminar programme is Sara Ludlum, Partner & Chartered Trademark Attorney at Brabners LLP, who will explore the increasingly important topic of “AI and the Law – Is Your Business Exposed?”

As AI rapidly transforms the way companies operate, Ludlum will provide practical guidance on the legal risks, compliance requirements and steps businesses can take to protect themselves while embracing new technology.

Attendees will also hear from Jennifer Lake of Bug Grip, who will share valuable insights into the often-overlooked world of grant funding.

Her session will reveal how businesses can access financial support, not only for new product development, but also for improving existing products, services and operational processes.

The event will also welcome representatives from Newlife, the charity for disabled children, who will highlight how the organisation works alongside manufacturers, retailers and suppliers to create meaningful partnerships that make a genuine difference to families across the UK.

Alongside the seminar programme, an announcement of the winners of the BPIA 2026 Industry Awards will take place, celebrating excellence, innovation and achievement across the baby products sector, before concluding with drinks, refreshments and networking.

This event is free to attend for both members and non-members, but advance registration is essential. Click here to secure your place.
