Family wearing matching red and white christmas jumpers

After last year’s non-Christmas, British Christmas Jumpers is ready to celebrate this year with the launch of a new range of 100% recycled family jumpers. The range is available for adults and children aged 3-4 years upwards.

In addition to the family sets, British Christmas Jumpers also has a range of sustainably made styles. Knitted in England, they feature 100% recycled yarn (60% regenerated cotton /40% recycled bottles). Kids’ styles include the Polar Bear Fair Isle. There is also the Vintage Dancing Stags style for women and the men’s Christmas in Wonderland design.

The brand is committed to producing sustainably sourced garments – locally produced – with the environment, fair trade and fair pay in mind. Furthermore, because the company does not import its jumpers, it can keep its carbon footprint low.

There is an average of 24 recycled PET bottles in one of the brand’s standard size jumpers.

Commenting is Snahal Patel, founder and owner of British Christmas Jumpers. “The sustainability message is very important to our customers. Over the last year, we have seen a shift away from manmade fibres and a 100% increase in the amount of recycled Christmas jumpers that we have produced.”

The long tradition of quality textiles in the UK is something the British Christmas Jumpers’ factory has been proud to have been a part of for over 30 years. For further information, please click here.
