Cath Kidston launches limited-edition collection with GOSH Charity
British lifestyle brand, Cath Kidston, has partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) to offer a limited-edition print collection of childrenswear, pyjamas, womenswear, bags, accessories and mugs.
An ode to the work of the teams at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals based in London since 1852, the hero print of the collection, named Hope and Heart, was painted especially to celebrate the caregivers and specialist Play team at GOSH.
The animals of the ward names at GOSH have been painted as young animals, depicting how the hospital’s Play team – funded by GOSH Charity – spoke of keeping the children connected to nature through crafts and play.
Storybooks lie open, their pages spilling with colour, a nod to the literary roots of the hospital and its renowned supporters, Charles Dickens and JM Barrie. Paintings swing drying in the breeze, and toys scatter throughout. An uplifting tale of heart and hope, created to capture the heroic spirit and poignant magic of the community that makes a home and an extended family within the walls of the hospital.

Commenting is Holly Marler, Head of Creative at Cath Kidston.
“This has been an incredibly special project for us at Cath Kidston. And it meant so much to us that the team at GOSH have been so generous with their time, their stories and their knowledge. At Cath Kidston, we call ourselves The Joy Makers, silver lining seekers by nature.
“It was our honour to spend time with the Play team and learn of how they work so tirelessly and passionately to ensure joy is so richly present for the children and their families. It has been truly, deeply inspiring. They are the true Joy Makers for the families of GOSH. And we’re so proud to have created this collection to celebrate them.”
At GOSH, the unique, specialist Play team supports and provides opportunities for play to happen no matter the circumstances, guiding children and their families through their hospital experience while guarding the preciousness of childhood joy.

Sarah Bissell, Deputy Director of Relationship Fundraising at GOSH Charity, says
“It’s wonderful to be partnering with Cath Kidston on their Hope & Heart collection. At GOSH Charity, we raise vital funds to give seriously ill children at GOSH the best chance and childhood possible, and the designs in this range perfectly capture the essence of childhood and the dedication of staff at GOSH – including the charity-funded Play team – who go above and beyond to support families through their treatment.
“We’re hugely grateful to the team at Cath Kidston and everyone who chooses to buy one of the beautiful items from the collection. Every purchase will make a big difference to the lives of children and their families at GOSH.”
The collection will be available to purchase online at NEXT.co.uk and in store at Cath Kidston’s Westfield London store. A percentage of the sales goes directly to the charity, and the Cath Kidston team will be launching initiatives to fundraise, from joining the annual sponsored 5K in October to ‘auctioning’ off the original paintings of the print on its Instagram account. Cath Kidston will also share stories showcasing the Play team’s work in the GOSH community during the campaign.
